Ingredients
Scale
- 2 frozen salmon fillets
- ½ teaspoon olive oil
- ½ lemon, thinly sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C) according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Prepare the Salmon: Remove any excess ice from your frozen salmon fillets. If your salmon has skin, place it in the air fryer basket skin-side down.
- Initial Cook: Cook the frozen salmon for 7 minutes to defrost.
- Season the Salmon: Brush the salmon with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Lay the lemon slices over the fillets.
- Final Cook: Return the salmon to the air fryer and cook for another 3-7 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked to your liking. The salmon is ready when it reaches an internal temperature of 135°F (57°C) and flakes easily with a fork.
Notes
- No Fresh Lemons?: Use bottled lemon juice instead.
- Oil Substitution: Swap olive oil for avocado oil or use cooking spray.
- Add Herbs: Tuck fresh thyme or dill under the lemon slices or use your favorite seasoning blend.
