Place flour, sugar and salt in a large bowl with yeast.

Combine the cubed butter using your hands until crumbly.

In a small bowl, combine milk and egg until blended; the dough will be shaggy.

Shape the dough into a disc, wrap with plastic and chill for at least 2 hours or up to three days.
