Ingredients
8 ounces of rotini pasta
1 pound cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 cup crab meat, flaked
1 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
1/4 cup sliced black olives
1/4 cup sliced green onions
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon dried dill
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the rotini pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside to cool. - Prepare the Dressing:
Combine the mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and dried dill in a small bowl. Whisk together until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste. - Mix the Salad:
Combine the cooled pasta, cooked shrimp, flaked crab meat, chopped celery, green and red bell peppers, black olives, and green onions in a large mixing bowl. Toss to mix well. - Add the Dressing:
Pour the prepared dressing over the salad ingredients. Toss gently until everything is evenly coated with the dressing. - Chill and Serve:
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld. Serve chilled.
